Waving not drowning...

There has been a lot of activity lately, on a new innovation introduced to us by Alick, called Google Wave.
This has been the preferred method of communicating with each other on our collaborative project on Calverley Park.

It's been really useful because collaborate work is difficult when you cannot meet colleagues face-to-face when working on a project. The "wave" seems more informal than an email - where words and feelings can often be misinterpreted.

All this technology....it can't beat face-to-face communication though, can it?.........

  1. i agree- the 'wave' has been a brilliant tool for this project- as project manager its really helped me know where people are at and what they need.
-if anyone wants to see the process and the work on the wave you are very welcome to see it, send me an email and i will invite you to the wave.

well done to everyone that came to calvery today - in the pooring rain!!

  2. You ask me to correct the comment in French you send me and you should say: Je suis allée aujourd'hui à Calverley Parc pour prendre des photos avec mes amies. But what you send me was quite good for someone who is learning French. Thanks for trying to speak French.

We decide to use Hotmail rather than Google Wave in order to use sky drive to store all our documents and works.

Good luck with your Calverley Park presentation next Monday.
    Amelie.
